“Let me take you on a tour of my Studio in Provence.

But before we look at my work, I would like to tell you about the origin of the name Disney. My ancestors were French and hailed from Normandy. Set deep in an inlet of Calvados county is the small town of Isigny. The inhabitants of the place were generally known as “d’Isigny” (of Isigny) hence the name. Later this was shortened to Disney.

From my Studio I look out on to a wide vista of pine forest and sloping terraces. Close to the doorway two lovely “tilia” or lime trees provide a restful shade against the summer glare. Cypresses stand as tall sentinels in a long line down one side of the land.

Come in now and let us visit my Gallery...”
